Inhibit Algae Blooms

This month the focus is on the "inhibit" category of BioGuard® products. These products are used in the prevention of specific pool situations, including products such as preventative algicides. Now that the temperatures are warmer, remember to pay special attention to the possibility of algae blooms in your pool.

BioGuard's most effective algae preventative is Back Up®.
It works well in both chlorinated and brominated pools. This product keeps pool water clear and free of visible algae, even working in tiny cracks and crevices where algae start. Its activity increases as water temperature rises, when you need protection the most. Another great thing about this product is it won't affect pH levels and is non-staining.
