CHLORINE INSTRUCTIONS

 INITIAL FILL

  1. Make sure power is turned off.
  2. Fill hot tub through filter compartment.  Do NOT use softened water.
  3. Turn 20 amp breaker on and purge any remaining air by turning the jets on for 30 mins. (For Vista, Envoy or Caspian, Turn on 30 amp breaker)
  4. Turn on clean cycle.
  5. Add ¼ CUP CHLORINE and ¼ CUP (MPS) OXIDIZER into filter compartment.
  6. Check chemical levels using test strips.
  7. Adjust PH by adding either up or down depending on need. (2 caps per square on your test strip)
  8. Wait at least 2 hours between test times.
  9. Add 4 ozs stain & scale.
  10. Run Jets for 20 minutes rotating the diverter handle(s) to purge any aire out of the lines.  Turn 30 amp breaker on.  (For Vista, Envoy and Caspian; turn 20 amp breaker on.)

AFTER EACH USE

  1. Add 1 TEASPOON of CHLORINE per 250 gallons or follow chart below -
  • Vista: 2 teaspoons
  • Landmark: 2 teaspoons
  • Grandee: 2 teaspoons
  • Envoy: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Vanguard: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Highlife: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Accolade: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Sovereign: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Prodigy: 1 teaspoons
  • Jetsetter: 1 teaspoons
  • Siberian: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Caspian: 1-1/2 teaspoons
  • Bengal: 1 teaspoons
  • Sumatran: 1 teaspoons

ONCE A WEEK

  1.  Check chemical levels using test strips, (if levels are OK don’t add anything)
  2. Adjust PH level accordingly.
  3. Add 1 oz Stain & Scale.
  4. Add 1 TABLESPOON MPS (OXIDIZER) per 250 gallons(if water is cloudy you can double the amount of MPS added)
  5. Turn clean cycle on.
  • Vista: 2 tablespoons

  • Envoy: 1-1/2 tablespoons
  • Vanguard: 1-1/2 tablespoons
  • Highlife: 1-1/2 tablespoons

MONTHLY

Remove filters and clean by soaking in hot water and Filter Cleaner overnight, filters must be rinsed thoroughly before reinstalling. TRI-X Filters can be put in you dishwasher on WASH ONLY, with no detergent or JetDry type products and NO DRY CYCLE.

FAILURE TO KEEP FILTERS CLEAN CAN AFFECT YOUR HEATER AND PUMPS! SERVICE CALLS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY IF DIRTY FILTERS ARE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM.

EVERY 4 MONTHS

  1. Unplug spa from power source.
  2. Drain spa.
  3. Use a diluted solution of bleach to clean spa. Never use anything abrasive to clean spa surface.
  4. Make sure spa is rinsed thoroughly before refilling.
  5. Follow directions for INITIAL FILL for adding chemicals.
